Our careers programme at Christ Church Secondary Academy is led by Mr Grimwood, Assistant Headteacher for Careers. Please make contact via email (info@christchurchsecondary.org.uk), or by phone (+44 121 393 3678).

At Christ Church Secondary Academy, we aim to provide our students with in-depth knowledge of careers and employability skills which will allow them to be successful in modern Britain and the ever-changing job market. We will help our students to build high aspirations for themselves, so that they are courageous in their learning about careers, whilst also offering bespoke and individualised support to ensure all of our learners have knowledge of the future pathways they can follow. We will send our students out from CCSA into the world as confident, well-informed and prepared individuals. We wish to ensure not only our students, but also their parents and our staff, have up-to-date information on careers and further/higher education, so that we can work collaboratively to help our students achieve.

All of our students at CCSA have access to Unifrog, allowing them to research bespoke careers tailored to their specific interests and personalities. We will also keep track of all Careers opportunities that our students engage with through this, so that students are able to see how their knowledge and experiences build over time. We are looking forward to providing access to our parents as well, to further build this knowledge and support. We are also members of the Birmingham Careers Hub, and we employ an independent Careers Advisor.

We are taking part in National Careers Week in March, and National Apprenticeship Week in February, when all year groups will be developing their learning and understanding through a range of different activities.
