Pastoral care

Students are organised into year tutor groups.  Our aim is for a form tutor to journey with their group from year 7 through to year 11.  As the academy grows and is established there will be minor changes every year to balance the experience of the tutor teams.   

The year group intents will be developed and established throughout the year.

Students also belong and are assigned to a House.  There are four vertical Houses: Cedar, Cypress, Sycamore and Acacia.  The house system at CCSA organises students for, Worship, Charity fundraising, Competitions, Rewards, Mentoring and support.

Their commendations count towards house points, as well as winners of competitions around the academy and regular participation in enrichment and intervention.
