CCSA Founding Families Update - 22nd October 2021

Thank you, from all of us here at CCSA, for all of your hard work and support throughout our first half term of the year.  Many of you have told me how much your children are benefitting from the teaching they receive every day and our culture of structured, high expectations.  We are only beginning to see the incredible potential of our founding cohort, and we look forward to seeing them learn, flourish and celebrate truth throughout the rest of the academic year and beyond.

CCSA is a school for every young person who is passionate about learning, willing to work hard and ready to challenge and develop themselves in a Christian community. Since our opening day students in our founding cohort have earned 5,750 commendations through meeting our expectations consistently, or for going the extra mile. This is a remarkable achievement!

Please take the time over the half term break to review these commendations and celebrate them at home where possible. Please also take the time to review your child’s profile on our Parent Portal / Arbor App, and reflect on any areas for improvement around our student code of conduct.  This will be important as our expectations, key routines and procedures will continue to grow and develop throughout this year.

Our hard working students deserve a restful and relaxing break over the coming days, in order that they are ready for our second half term of the academic year.  Of particular importance will be events in the run up to Christmas, an upcoming parents’ academic review event and a critical set of formal examinations in each subject area.

I wish you all a very pleasant half term.  I look forward to welcoming all our student back to school on Monday 1st November.
